Dr. Kowalski has 30 years of experience in the health care products industry, particularly with sterile medical devices. He has extensive sterilization experience including moist heat, ethylene oxide, radiation, gaseous chlorine dioxide, ozone, UV light, vaporized hydrogen peroxide, and hydrogen peroxide gas plasma. He developed Method VDmax, a cost-effective approach for the validation of radiation sterilization processes; this methodology has been incorporated into the governing international standard, ISO 11137. He provided key technical support to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on the remediation of anthrax-contaminated facilities.
